On Wednesday 27 July Milldale offered our build partners another great chance to catch up on the latest developments, swap notes, and enjoy some healthy competition on the greens at the Orewa Bowling Club.

The evening began with a few practice runs under the guidance of Club Members who’d given their time to help improve our skills. This was followed by the ‘Spider’ - where the jack was placed in the middle of the Ryman Green, then players spaced evenly around the perimeter all bowled at once, with the top prize going to Ross at Ross Homes for closest to the jack.

The round robin competition came next and teams of 4 faced off over 2 hours to find our top scorers. There was some fierce competition and a handful of seasoned experts, with the March Cato / Williamson Homes combo sharing first place and tickets to the Bledisloe Cup.

The best drive ended competition on the green, with our top performer being Jared of Millstone Residential.

Prize giving took place inside where the bowls decorating competitions were judged, with the most creative going to Barfoots and most professional awarded to Millstone Residential. 

From $100 spot prizes and custom decorated company bowls, to Culinary Lane catering, Milldale's build partners enjoyed another great evening of competition and conversation.
